Miles McPherson

Miles McPherson played four years in the NFL with the San Diego Chargers, from 1982­ through1985.After committing his life to Christ and overcoming an addiction to cocaine in one day, Miles went to work as a Youth Pastor and later received his Master’s of Divinity degree from Azusa Pacific University. In 1992, McPherson founded Miles Ahead, a non­profit organization that reaches out to youth around the globe and has helped more than 45,000 youngpeople give their lives to the Lord. In 2000, he founded The Rock Church, which has consistently been one of the nation’s fastest growing and largestchurches. Miles’ newest book, DO Something is designed to equip people to take Christ’s love to the streets and make a difference in their community. He and his wife, Debbie, have three children and reside in San Diego.
